The plan for the weekend is as follows:
Friday, 20th September
Saturday, 21st September
Coffee and pastries at Zeina’s, followed by:
- Inspiration, the big picture and Food for thought: an informal chat with an INSEAD Professor (Linda Brimm confirmed, Linda will come talk to us about global cosmopolitans and the issues we face; one more Prof tbc)
- Informal chats and break out groups as it comes among friends sharing common interests / similar problems & challenges
- BBQ and swimming on the grounds of Zeina’s house (Rasmus and Daniel Elfen are the lucky volunteers to “man” the BBQ! More volunteers needed. The flow of Rose while you toil guaranteed)
- Free time before we hit the village for dinner and the happening night scene (we are sorry to inform you, party busses have not made an appearing in this part of the woods just quite yet! Unless of course one of you decides to import one from Singapore!)
- Dinner venue (Le Gaulois sur grill confirmed)
- Party venue (BoBo Club Barbizon, 1 rue Grande, Barbizon confirmed)
Sunday, 22nd September
Coffee and pastries at Zeina’s (unless we need hot soup at the crack of dawn returning from BoBo)
Lunch in the village @ L’Angelo Pizzeria (confirmed)
Followed by hugs, kisses and till we meet again!
Accommodation: plenty of options in Barbizon. See a snapshot of what’s there below, but also check out Airbnb!
Transportation: Considering we will be in the middle of the forest, easiest to rent a car
Cost: We will be sending out info on shared costs for Saturday (pastries, BBQ, drinks throughout the day and some external help. Budget for dinners, club and lunch as you normally would when going out on the town (-:
Who? Welcome to come in whatever format suits you – spouses, children, dogs and cats, whatever works for you and helps you make it there!
Dress code: properly casual (+swimming gear)! It’s the weekend and we’ll be in the forest for all of it!
